Piano solo concert

Romeo Scaccia (born in Addis Abeba in 1970, pianist, began his musical training at the Cagliari Conservatory ” Pierluigi da Palestrina “, and afterward at the Academy “Franz Liszt” in Budapest, Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam, and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Winner of numerous national and international piano competitions, he has performed with a classical repertoire throughout the world, revealing outstanding qualities of a mature artistic personality that catalyzes and sweeps the audience. While he performs as a recitalist, Romeo Scaccia is meanwhile dedicated to his first passion:  composition, that gives him an opportunity to demonstrate his sensitivity and his versatility, since he embraces  very diverse musical genres ranging from baroque to classical to jazz, to pop to contemporary. He collaborated also with the prestigious American Film Institute in Los Angeles as a composer of soundtracks for film productions.
Performs Opening at the inauguration of the 53rd Venice Biennale and made the soundtrack for the opera “Open Wall” artist Shan Shan Sheng, to be presented to the expo in Shanghai in 2010.
